Introduction

 

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." - Arthur C. Clarke

 

Aliens & UFO’s are real, and they are not demons.  

 

As fantastical and terrifying as this may be, it is without a doubt the reality we live in.  It needs to be addressed, analyzed, and categorized appropriately. 

 

This conversation is of critical importance.  It is relevant to all mankind, and has profound implications for humanity in regard to religion, theology, eschatology, history, technology, and much more. 

 

I am writing this as a Christian, and believe Jesus is Christ, the one true Son of God, God of gods, King of kings, Lord of lords, and creator of all things.  My hope is for saints around the world to seek the truth, that they may take the lead in this conversation and guide their communities with sound wisdom, discernment, and understanding.  Simply stating that the entire alien and UFO phenomena is just deception and demons is not a sufficient explanation; lacking depth, insight, and comprehensive analyses.  

 

Gentleman, it’s time to get off the sidelines and into the fight. 

 

Before we go any further, we should establish our understanding in historically & biblically sound foundations.  If we are to explore and navigate this topic earnestly, honestly, & rationally, then discerning truth must be our sole objective.

 

First, let’s define our terms.  

 

Demons: The earthly, disembodied (& unclean) spirits of the dead nephilim (giants), who were the hybrid offspring of the sons of God (angels of heaven) and human women.  

Angels: Messengers (a term often used to describe the sons of God, but not exclusively)

 

Merriam-Webster defines the following:

 

Alien: coming from another world

Extraterrestrial: originating, existing, or occurring outside the earth or its atmosphere

 

Does the bible suggest the existence of extraterrestrial, alien beings? The answer: Conclusively, yes. 

 

From Genesis to Revelation, the angels, i.e., the sons of God (a.k.a. morning stars), play an essential role throughout the biblical narrative.  We are told these beings are not from earth, and are therefore, by modern definition, extraterrestrial aliens.    

 

This is a biblical fact, and historically speaking, an accepted point of view within Christianity (although they’ve been identified in various terms).

 

However, in modern times, aliens are seen as a taboo subject within the church, and often outright offensive or repulsive to the traditional Christian.  Why? 

 

There’s a few common underlying theological frameworks that are hindering us from further exploring this physical reality.  We need to contemplate these before we can properly address the existence of extraterrestrial aliens within our physical universe. 

 

1. The bible doesn’t tell us about aliens and UFO’s, therefore, they can’t exist.

2. All beings (such as Jesus & the angels), aside from earthly humans and animals, exist within a spiritual, ethereal, non-physical, interdimensional realm, called heaven.  Simply put, we are alone in the entire universe, and everyone else is outside of it.

a. Based on this premise, sentient extraterrestrials and physical alien technology (UFO’s), should not exist, and if they do, they must be interdimensional, or some sort of deception.

b. Therefore, all these phenomena must be categorized as spiritual demons or ethereal fallen angels.  

  3. ​The earth and universe were created for humanity, and creation revolves around us.

  4. The work of Christ would be negated by the existence of extraterrestrials.

Point #1 is not true, and quickly refuted. We are told about angels who are not from earth.  Also, Jesus didn’t tell us about physics, quantum mechanics, microorganisms, nuclear bombs, the internet, electricity, phones, modern spaceships, artificial intelligence, robots, etc..  The list could go on forever. He’s not obligated to tell us anything.

 

A high level analysis of points #2 & #3 are addressed in my article The physical reality of heaven, flesh, & spirit.  If these concepts are new for you, I recommend reading that first and then coming back to this article.  For a more comprehensive analysis, and widespread overview on related material, Timothy Alberino’s book, Birthright, is an excellent resource.

 

In the book, Tim eloquently articulates a rebuttal to point #4.  

 

“The reason why so many Christians struggle with the notion of intelligent extraterrestrial life is because they are convinced that it contradicts the doctrines of scripture. While the sentiment is understandable, it is also unfounded. The existence of extraterrestrials no more contradicts the gospel of Christ than the existence of angels. The work of Christ pertains exclusively to the sons of Adam. If Jesus did not die to atone for the sins of the angels, then why should we demand that he die for the aliens? Mankind was created for fellowship in the family of God, then corrupted through sin. Alien beings, such as the insectalins, may also have been created for a purpose, peculiar to our own, and then corrupted, even by the same serpent.” - Birthright, by Timothy Alberino

In order to further open the door on the topic of aliens, while basing our faith in truth & Christ, we can build on four foundational pillars:

 

1. Existence of extraterrestrials (beings not from earth) is a biblical fact (but not exclusive to Christianity).

2. Heaven, and “the heavens”, are in this physical universe, not a separate ethereal / non-physical realm.

3. Earth and humanity are not the purpose or center of creation, Christ is.

4. God doesn’t tell us about all things.  In fact, he doesn’t tell us most things. 

 

“He [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:15-17

 

“It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.” Proverbs 25:2

 

Now that we’ve established our foundations, and determined that aliens can, and do, exist within a Christian worldview, we can begin to analyze the details of this phenomenon based on the following:

 

-Historical documentation

-Historical data gathered by competent researchers 

-Testimony from whistleblowers and first-hand witnesses 

-Physical evidence 

 

Aliens and UFO’s are not only a modern phenomenon, but exceedingly ancient in origin.  We will explore the history of the phenomenon throughout time, starting in the ancient days of Jared, to the present day (discussed in part III).  Thousands of records exist, so here we will discuss only a handful of its entirety.

 

Not all events may be literal or accurately described according to the true nature of events.  Elements of mysticism, prophetic iconography, visions, symbolism, folk lore, metaphor, allegory, and legend are factors we should consider in our analysis on a case by case basis according to context. 

 

Using the entirety of data gathered across time, we can begin to draw conclusions.

 

The History of extraterrestrials & UFO’s: Days of Jared-1858

 

Dating back thousands of years, far prior to the invention of the man-made airplane, the gods, and UFO’s, have been observed, encountered, written about, drawn, and painted, throughout the world.  Sometimes the gods, or other beings, are directly encountered or seen with UFO’s, but this is not always the case. 

 

UFO stands for “unidentified flying objects”. They are also sometimes referred to as UAP’s “unidentified anomalous phenomenon”.  These are modern terms used to denote the same phenomenon. Ancient writers used their own cultural language and terminology, often using symbols (clouds, chariots, pillars, horses, fire, shields, spheres, etc.) to describe events and objects that could not be explained otherwise. We should remember that until the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, people had no basis to conceptualize modern-day aircraft (rockets, planes, helicopters, drones, satellites, etc.). 

 

Historical encounters and sightings have been documented in the countries of China, Japan, India, Italy, Ireland, Egypt, Spain, Ukraine, Turkey, Israel, England, Germany, France, Thailand, Canada, and the United States, among many others.

 

In the antediluvian world, during the days of Jared, prior to the great biblical flood and global cataclysm, 200 gods of old descended from heaven upon the summit of Mount Hermon (which straddles the border of modern day Lebanon and Syria) married and copulated with human women, procreated hybrid giants, dwelt among men, shared technology, and passed down forbidden knowledge. This story is briefly summarized in Genesis 6, and detailed in The Book of Enoch, among other ancient texts.  This will be further discussed in part II.

 

In the ancient Hindu texts, Ramayana (dated roughly 700-400 BCE), and Mahabharata (dated roughly 400 BCE-400 CE), describe majestic vehicles called Vimanas, which were the flying machines, or spacecraft, of the gods.  In these aerial vehicles, the gods battled, and traversed the skies.

 

“The mighty Ravana brought the Pushpaka chariot, which resembles the Sun and belongs to my brother. That aerial and excellent chariot goes everywhere at will, resembling a bright cloud in the sky. The King [Rama] got in, and the superb chariot, at the command of Raghira, rose up into the higher atmosphere.” Ramayana, Yuddha Kanda

 

“The celestial chariot, enjoyable to the deities and beautifully crystalline in the sky, that I have graciously bestowed upon you will come to you.(13) You alone, on the splendid chariot, residing above all mortals, will wander above, like the embodiment of the divine.(14)” Mahabharata, Adi Parva

 

Many other ancient cultures around the world have documented similar historical encounters and worshipped the gods.  Though sometimes described through mythology, the messaging always conveys the same point: the gods exist, and are far more powerful and knowledgeable than us.

 

The following historical events have been chronicled by Jacques Valle and Chris Aubeck in Wonders in the Sky (2010).  It’s important to note, the authors have taken into account natural phenomena (meteors, storms, volcanoes, etc.).  Upon analysis, they appropriately concluded that a significant portion of the phenomena can not simply be explained by naturally occurring events.

‘During the war with Cimbri, “From Amelia and Todi, cities of Italy, it was reported that at night there had been seen in the heavens flaming spears, and shields which at first moved in different directions,  and then clashed together, assuming formations and movements of men in battle, and finally some of them would give way, while others pressed on in pursuit, and all streamed away to the westward.”’

Flying chariots surround the city 

 

‘Flavius Josephus writes: “On the one and twentieth day of the month Artemisius, a certain prodigious and incredible phenomenon appeared: I suppose the account of it would seem to be a fable, were it not related by those that saw it, and were not the events that followed it of so considerable a nature as to deserve such signals; for, before sun-setting, chariots and troops of soldiers in their armor were seen running about among the clouds, and surrounding cities.”’

King Clovis guided by a light in the sky

 

“After Clovis had passed the ford, as it is still named, of the Hart, he advanced with bold and hasty steps to prevent the escape of the enemy.  His nocturnal march was directed by a flaming meteor, suspended in the air above the cathedral of Poitiers; and this signal, which might be previously connected with Orthodox successor of St. Hilary, was compared to the fire that guided Israelites in the desert.”

14 October 1253, England

A battle of stars

 

‘Nicholas of Findern reported to Burton Abbey that “About the hour of vespers, the sky being clear, suddenly a large bright star appeared out of a black cloud with two smaller stars in the vicinity.  A battle royal soon commenced, the small stars charging the great star again and again, so that it began to diminish in size, and sparks of fire fell from the combatants.  This continued for a considerable time, and at last, the spectators, stupified, by fear and wonder, and ignorant of what it might portend, fled.”’

3 June 1277, China

Strange event seen at dawn

 

‘An unknown object was immortalized in a poem by Liuo Ying, a Chinese poet of the Yuan Dynasty.  The title of the poem, which can be found in chapter three of The Yuan Literature Collection, was simply “Event seen at Dawn.”  

 

“I rise at dawn and, through the window, I see a very bright star that crosses the Milky Way.  Now I see three luminous objects appear in the southern sky, of which two fly away and disappear suddenly from my sight.  The one which remains possesses five unequalled lights beneath it, and above its upper part I see something in the form of a dome.  The unknown object begins to move in a zigzag, like a dead leaf.  At the same time, some fiery thing falls from the sky.  A short time afterwards, the sun rises but its brightness is dulled by the luminous object that moves quickly in the northerly direction.  In the western sky, a green cloud is suddenly disturbed by another unknown object, oval in shape, flat, that descends quickly.  This object is more than three meters long, and is surrounded by flames.  It rises again shortly after its descent.”

 

“In view of this splendid and amazing spectacle, I rush to the village to alert the inhabitants.  When my friends come out of their horses, the flying machine has disappeared.  After the event, I reflect on it very much but do not find a reasonable explanation.  I have the impression I have come out of a long dream.  I hasten to write down all that I have seen so that whoever understands these events can give me an explanation.”’

14 April 1561, Nuremberg, Germany 

Vertical Cylinders

 

‘At sunrise many spheres and disks, red, blue, and black were seen to come out of two vertical cylinders.  They flew across the face of the sun in an apparent “aerial fight”.  In a contemporary engraving some of the spheres appear to have landed on a hill to the right of the city, where much smoke is rising, while an elongated shape resembling a great black spear is seen in a horizontal position.

 

“Beyond balls of a red color, bluish or black, and circular disks, two large pipes were seen…within which small and big pipes were found three balls, also four or more…All these elements started fighting against one another.”  The fight seems to have lasted about an hour, then “as mentioned above, from the Sun and the sky, it fell onto the earth as if everything was burning, and with great smoke everything got consumed.”’

Huge cylinder 

 

‘A huge cylinder and an odd cloud moved along with nocturnal lights, low on the horizon.  The phenomenon was described by “The Worshipful Charles Kirkham, Esq.” as “a long dark cloud of a Cylindrical Figure was lay horizontally, and seemed to divide the brightness into two almost Equal Parts.  It has little or no motion, tho’ the Wind blow’d brisk.  But on a sudden there appear’d a swelling Brightness in that Cylindric Cloud, which broke out into Flames of a pale-coloured fire.”

 

The flames lasted less than half a minute, with “the Cloud from whence they proceeded still keeping its first Position, and not diminish’d.  It was wonderfully frightful and amazing.”’

11 May 1710, London, England 

Man flying in an object 

 

‘At 2:00 A.M. multiple witnesses saw “a strange comet” which seemed to be carried along with two black clouds.  “After which,” according to the report, “follow’d the likeness of a Man in a Cloud of Fire, with a sword in his Hand, which mov’d with the Clouds as the other did, but they saw it for near a quarter of an Hour together, to their very great surprise…” The scene was depicted in a woodcut.’

2 April 1716, Tallin, Baltic Sea

Clouds fighting

 

Two large dark clouds engaged in combat, and many smaller fast clouds.

 

The phenomenon was observed over the Baltic Sea, near Revel (modern Tallinn). The reports come from various official documents and ship logbooks. It was the second day of Easter, at around 9:00 P.M., when a dense or black cloud appeared in the sky. Its base was wide but its top was pointed, and it seemed to travel upwards quickly, "so that in less than three minutes its angle of elevation reached half of a right angle." As the cloud appeared "there manifested in the WNW direction an enormous shining comet that ascended up to about 12 degrees above the horizon." At this moment, a second dark cloud rose from the north, approaching the first one: "There formed between these two clouds, from the northeastern side, a bright light in the shape of a column that for a few minutes did not change its position..." 

 

One version states that this column of light remained still for around ten minutes. Then the second cloud moved very quickly through the column, "and hit the other cloud that was moving from the east." The collision produced "great fire and smoke" for about fifteen minutes, "after which it began to gradually fade and ended with the appearance of a multitude of bright arrows reaching an [angular] altitude of 80 degrees above the horizon."

Flying men

 

‘Charles Cooper, a farmer, saw something strange crossing the sky in the middle of the afternoon: 

 

“On the third day of October, as I was labouring in the field, I saw a remarkable rainbow, after a slight shower of rain.  Soon after, the bow passed away and the sky became clear, and I heard a distant rumbling sound resembling thunder.  I laid by my work, and looked towards the west from whence the sound proceeded, but seeing nothing returned to my labour.”

“The sound continued to increase until it became very heavy, and seemed to approach nearer.  I again laid by my work, and looking towards the west once more, to ascertain its cause, I beheld a cloud of very remarkable appearance approaching, and underneath it, the appearance of three men, perfectly white, sailing through the air, one following the other, the foremost one appearing a little the latest.  My surprise was great, and concluding that I was deceived, I watched them carefully.”

 

“They still approached me underneath the cloud, and came directly over my head, a little higher than the tops of the trees, so that I could view every feature as perfectly as of one standing directly before me.  I could see nothing but a milky-white body, with extended arms, destitute of motion, while they continued to utter doleful moans, which I found as they approached, to be the distant road that first attracted my attention.  These moans sounded much like Wo-Wo-Wo! I watched them until they passed out of sight.  The effect can be better imagined than described.  Two men were labouring at a distance, to whom I called to see the men in the air, but they say they did not see them.  I never believed in such an appearance until that time.”’

19 March 1847, Holloway, London, England 

Unknown object ascending

 

"On the evening of Friday, March 19, "A" and I left Albion road, [Holloway], about halfpast eight. Not any stars were then visible, but when we were in Highbury place, "A" called my attention to what we thought a fire-balloon ascending slowly. It was in the west, a little inclining to the south. As it passed on slowly to the west, its intense brilliance convinced me that it was not an earthly thing. 

 

"When it appeared to be over Hampstead (but as high in the heavens as the sun is at six o'clock in the evening when the days are longest) it shot forth several fiery coruscations, and whilst we were gazing at it broke into an intensely radiant cloud: this cloud sailed on slowly, and we never took our eyes off it. At this time the stars were shining. When we were in the gravel path opposite to Highbury terrace, the cloud was higher in the heavens and more to the west. It cast a most brilliant light on the houses there, brighter than moonlight, and unlike any light I ever saw. It appeared of a blue tint on the bricks, but there was no blue light in the cloud itself.

 

 "Suddenly, over the radiant cloud appeared another cloud still more brilliant, but I now felt so awe-struck, that I cannot say precisely how long they hung one over the other before the most wonderful sight happened. Perhaps they remained so for two or three minutes, when from the upper cloud a small fiery ball (about the size that the largest 22 4 planets appear to the naked eye) dropped into the lower cloud, and was instantly absorbed. Soon after, another similar ball dropped from the upper to the lower cloud and then a ball apparently four or five times the size of the two preceding, fell from one cloud to the other. 

 

"Shortly after this both clouds disappeared, apparently absorbed in the heavens, though I did see a few particles of the brilliant clouds floating about for a minute or so. Presently the moon appeared, considerably to the northward of the place where the clouds had hung. We then saw the bright light across the heavens, which you told me, was zodiacal light, which lasted for more than an hour."

1858, Jay, Ohio, USA

Silent vessel with passengers

 

‘Alerted by a sudden shadow over the place where they were standing, several witnesses including Mr. Henry Wallace are said to have looked up in time to see “a large and curiously constructed vessel, not over one hundred yards from earth.” A number of very tall people were seen aboard this craft, which the recorder of the event believes was “a vessel from Venus, Mercury, or the planet Mars, on a visit of pleasure or exploration, or some other cause.”

 

Mr Wallace reportedly added: "The vessel was evidently worked by wheels and other mechanical appendages, all of which worked with a precision and a degree of beauty never yet attained by any mechanical skill upon this planet (...) This was no phantom that disappeared in a twinkling... but this aerial ship was guided, propelled and steered through the atmosphere with the most scientific system and regularity, about six miles an hour, though, doubtless, from the appearance of her machinery, she was capable of going thousands of miles an hour."’

I include these events, not to singlehandedly serve as irrefutable evidence of aliens and UFO’s, but to convey that these encounters have occurred throughout the world since the dawn of man, with striking similarities across time. As a reminder, we’ve discussed only a handful among thousands of other similar cases.

 

A Physical Phenomenon

 

Jacques Valle and Chris Aubeck ask the questions many people are wondering, “could all this be simply delusionary?”  And, ‘How "physical" is the phenomenon?’

 

“Given the preponderance of multiple-witness cases, and the many events attested by figures in authority such as astronomers, State or Church representatives, as well as the extensive investigations some of the events have triggered, it is not reasonable to claim that no physical phenomenon of an unusual nature was present…In some well documented cases the phenomenon gave off intense heat, destroyed vegetation, or dropped metallic residue.  All these indications converge to support the concept of an unrecognized, physical phenomenon that is relatively rare and unpredictable, but consistent in its general appearance and effects.”

 

“Furthermore, a review of the duration of the sightings (known to us in 106 cases) shows that most of the objects or phenomena were in sight for a considerable time, certainly long enough for the witnesses to have called other people, and to have ascertained the circumstances of the observation.”

Biblical UFO’s

Fascinatingly, similar UFO characteristics and descriptions that are found throughout the world across time, are also found throughout the bible, often connected to angels and the LORD.

 

Given the physical nature of the events chronicled above, and taking into account what we know about angels (discussed in The physical reality of heaven, flesh, & spirit; they talk, walk, eat, drink, wield technology, fight, rebel, sing, procreate, etc.) we are prompted to ask the question, how do the sons of god, the angels, travel? 

 

If they’re from this physical universe (which I affirm), and they descend / ascend from space (the heavens), then it stands to reason, they must have vehicles.  They’re certainly not flying across the world, or travelling through time and space to other planets, with biological wings like a bird.  And because we know clouds don’t actually carry people, they can’t be flying on literal clouds.  As previously mentioned, these symbols (clouds, chariots, horses, etc.) represented objects that could not be described otherwise due to the limited technological knowledge of the times.  

 

Does the bible convey a similar aerial phenomenon? Let’s take a look.

"The LORD said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward. Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground...Then the angel of God who was going before the host of Israel moved and went behind them, and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them, coming between the host of Egypt and the host of Israel. And there was the cloud and the darkness. And it lit up the night without one coming near the other all night...The Egyptians pursued and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. And in the morning watch the LORD in the pillar of fire and of cloud looked down on the Egyptian forces and threw the Egyptian forces into a panic, clogging their chariot wheels so that they drove heavily. And the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from before Israel, for the LORD fights for them against the Egyptians.”  Exodus 14: 15-16, 19-20, 23-25

 

"Then the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not...And as soon as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud... I have heard the grumbling of the people of Israel. Say to them, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. Then you shall know that I am the LORD your God.’” In the evening quail came up and covered the camp, and in the morning dew lay around the camp."  Exodus 16: 4, 10, 12-13

 

"Then Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. The glory of the LORD dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. Now the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel. Moses entered the cloud and went up on the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights." Exodus 24:15-18

 

"The LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD." Exodus 34:5

 

"At the command of the LORD the people of Israel set out, and at the command of the LORD they camped. As long as the cloud rested over the tabernacle, they remained in camp. Even when the cloud continued over the tabernacle many days, the people of Israel kept the charge of the LORD and did not set out. Sometimes the cloud was a few days over the tabernacle, and according to the command of the LORD they remained in camp; then according to the command of the LORD they set out." Numbers 9:18-20

 

"And the cloud of the LORD was over them by day, whenever they set out from the camp." Numbers 10:34

 

“There is none like God, O Jeshurun, who rides through the heavens to your help, through the skies in his majesty.” Deuteronomy 33:26

 

“And as they still went on and talked, behold, chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven [atmosphere, stars, & space]. And Elisha saw it and he cried, “My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more…” 2 Kings 2:11-12

 

“Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:17

 

“Behold, he comes up like clouds; his chariots like the whirlwind; his horses are swifter than eagles— woe to us, for we are ruined!” Jeremiah 4:13

“An oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them.” Isaiah 19:1

 

“For behold, the LORD will come in fire, and his chariots like the whirlwind, to render his anger in fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.” Isaiah 66:15

 

“The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and the LORD will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.” Nahum 1:3

“Was your wrath against the rivers, O LORD? Was your anger against the rivers, or your indignation against the sea, when you rode on your horses, on your chariot of salvation?” Habakkuk 3:8

 

"Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." Matthew 24:30

 

"And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." Luke 21:27

 

"And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven [atmosphere, stars, & space] as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven [atmosphere, stars, & space]? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven [atmosphere, stars, & space], will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven [atmosphere, stars, & space].”" Acts 1:9-11

 

'For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. ' 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

 

"Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen." Revelation 1:7 

 

The following texts are revealed in visions, and could be subject to interpretation.  I include them here, but we should consider the prophetic iconography and symbolism in a potential dream-like state of mind. 

 

 [Vision]

“As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness around it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming metal. And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had a human likeness, but each had four faces, and each of them had four wings… Each one of them went straight forward, without turning as they went…And each went straight forward. Wherever the spirit would go, they went, without turning as they went. As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches moving to and fro among the living creatures. And the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning…As for the appearance of the wheels and their construction: their appearance was like the gleaming of beryl. And the four had the same likeness, their appearance and construction being as it were a wheel within a wheel. When they went, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went…And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures rose from the earth, the wheels rose. Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, and the wheels rose along with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.” Ezekiel 1: 4-6, 9, 12-13, 16-17, 19-20

‘Then he said to me [an angel speaking], “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days [withheld from travelling from point A to point B], but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia”…Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? But now I will return to fight against the prince of Persia; and when I go out, behold, the prince of Greece will come.”’ Daniel 10:12-13,20

 

[Vision]

“Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains. And the mountains were mountains of bronze. The first chariot had red horses, the second black horses, the third white horses, and the fourth chariot dappled horses—all of them strong. Then I answered and said to the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?” And the angel answered and said to me, “These are going out to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth. The chariot with the black horses goes toward the north country, the white ones go after them, and the dappled ones go toward the south country.” When the strong horses came out, they were impatient to go and patrol the earth. And he said, “Go, patrol the earth.” So they patrolled the earth.” Zechariah 6:1-7

 

 [Vision]

“He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.” When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were terrified.” Matthew 17:5-6 

 

[Vision]

“Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.” Revelation 12:7-8 

 

The verses referenced above, along with thousands of historical encounters, indicate the existence of physical extraterrestrial vehicles used by "aliens" to travel from point A to B here on earth and within this universe.  As we will discuss in part III, this precisely aligns with the modern UFO phenomenon.  

 

I am suggesting that the Lord, and the angels encountered in the biblical narrative (both good and bad), do in fact manufacture, operate, battle, and fly in highly advanced technological craft; vehicles capable of traversing the skies, space, stars, and planets.
