Buried Treasure

Truth is like buried treasure,
Alluding both knowledge & pride.
Hidden deep within the jungle,
Uncharted to the stubborn mind.
Paths are narrow, dangerous, & dense.
To the hunter, great cost he shall find.
Truth is like buried treasure,
Located far out at sea.
Beyond the fog,
Few captain can see.
Fleets search, both far & wide,
Through storm water & rapid tide.
Sailor!
Are we not broken and weak?
The LORD our God,
He favors the humble & meek.
To mold -
Take up the cross, ask & seek.
Behold -
The map to truth, freely given.
Relent & repent,
Yes! We have been forgiven!
“You will know the truth,
and the truth will set you free.”
