Exodus

My friends,

Take heart,

Ages pass, & we all fall asleep.

For the times, they approach.

Now’s the time, we all must know.

The Lord our God, He has given us hope!

Death,

It’s only a brief goodbye.

By scripture, by prayer,

Jesus, The Word, has testified.

Therefore, do not despair.

As the end draws near,

Since we are to depart,

The Father’s given us an ear,

Should we all draw close, listen, & hear.

There is hope to share,

It’s a God given hope,

It’s the resurrection,

That we’ll be brought back divine.

For generations to come,

This life, this love, it transcends time.

We are here to serve,

As did Christ, & Christ died.

So shall we, & we all shall rise.

There is work to be done, the harvest is ripe.

There are knights to dub, & battles to fight.

There are souls to free, & tears to wipe clean.

There is truth to speak, & mouths to feed,

For those who are weak & in need,

And are we not all broken? Indeed!

There is treasure to leave behind.

Not trophies of gold, or selves to behold,

But of truth, love, & courage to mankind.

There are hands to hold,

May we never grow numb.

There are hearts to mold,

May we never succumb.

There is purpose in this life.

Families & communities are within purview.

There is land & earth we’re called to subdue.

There are children, abundant lives to create.

There are strong men, & warriors to raise,

And Lord they are in need, in need of teammates.

There is wisdom to pass down,

Our kin are yearning, seeking the Crown.

There’s a mission, a canvas to paint.

The Father has summoned us, all of his Saints.

Lord, who should we serve, & what should we say?

Where should we go, & what door should we take?

The Father will answer, should we adhere.

Should we all draw close, listen, & hear.
