Robot Speak

Corporate voices,
Scripted choices,
AI writes our words,
Turns us into herds,
And it all sounds the same.
It blends our speech,
Steers what we think,
Reframes our brains,
And it all sounds the same.
Greetings, hive-mind.
Goodbye, mankind.
So long, spirit-soul.
Hello, robotic cold.
Every word lost,
There’s a tragic cost.
To the machine,
We outsource our thoughts,
Become mechanistic props,
Like human crops,
We’re soiled into slop,
And harvested like hops.
With robot speak,
There’s no heartbeat.
Neither is there passion,
It lacks empathy, care, & compassion.
Oddly it sounds human,
And looks fairly real,
Yet it can’t love, & certainly can’t feel.
Why, oh why,
Must we really lose it all?
What makes us human,
Can we even recall?
The art of a man,
Comes from his soul & it comes from his hand.
Return, return,
To the ways of man.
Return to Adam, he’s nearly lost.
Do not let go of the human, no matter the cost.
