Even If, If, Then

Even if -

We lose it all, 

We fail & miss, 

We are wholly dismissed.

Even if -

Our words fall short, 

Our efforts go unseen, 

Pointless, our actions seem.

Even if -

We prove right, 

Yet die in vain.

We’re lost & lame, 

Just lying in rain.

Behold,

The Father sees all.

The King of Heaven, 

& ruler of all- 

He sits on the throne,

His judgement will come.

​

If-

We give our best, 

Serve Him above all.

Speak truth in courage, 

The Lord will call.

If-

We endure persecution,

Hold fast & true.

Fight like warriors,

Unto death, stand tall.

​

Then -

On that day, 

We’ll face Him in awe.

In confidence we’ll know,

Lord, we gave it our all!

Then -

There’s grace & mercy.

Perfection is futile,

God charges no fee.

Thank you God,
