The Warrior Saints

“Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”
The LORD, He calls!
And who will answer?
The messenger & man-
In whom families put trust.
The defender, protector,
Believer, & gospel seeker.
He’s compassion,
He’s aggression,
He’s a fighter-
Who bears a weapon.
He’s courage & strength.
He’s passion & peace.
He’s love unceased.
Who tells us to buy a sword?
Who calls the man? He is the LORD.
The warrior demand, the lion who roared.
The lion & lamb, with love put forward.
Time is bleak,
Talk is cheap.
Cowards flee,
In outright mutiny.
Appeasement is vain,
Only warriors remain,
The lions & bears, untamed.
Good, truth, & love-
Good against evil,
Soldiers are needed!
The war is primeval.
Evil, lies, & hate-
They do not negotiate.
Good & God, they berate.
Family, kids, & wife, they hate.
The Kingdom encroached,
Great armies approach.
Sly evil has come,
War cry, war drums.
No- Saints say.
No more, we pray.
The Warrior Saints-
Stand for good,
Fight against evil,
Speak truth, no spin.
Reject lies & sin.
Condemn the villain,
& never consent.
We forgive & repent,
But never forget.
Loyal to none but Christ,
No matter the price.
To Him, we acquaint.
The Warriors Saints.
